The College of Education and Human Development (COEHD) produces educators, administrators, counselors and health professionals with a global perspective on the educational, psychological, social and health needs of communities. The college serves as a national and international model in innovative teaching practices, health professional development and binational/bicultural issues.
- UTSA’s COEHD is the leading provider of educators in the San Antonio area, with more than 600 completing their teacher and professional certification programs each year.
- Over the past 10 years, COEHD has secured more than $43 million in external funding for scholarships, academic programs and research.
