Former Valero CEO and Chairman of the Board Bill Klesse and his wife, Margie, have committed a transformational $20 million gift to UTSA’s newly named Margie and Bill Klesse College of Engineering and Integrated Design. This gift will give the college the overall support it needs to give its students the best resources, education, and financial aid.
With this amazing gift, the Klesse College of Engineering and Integrated Design can provide more scholarship support for students, meaning students will find more opportunities to fund their education. The college can now create endowments that will help retain our award-winning faculty, as well as recruit new faculty to provide the best education for students.
The Klesses’ gift will also allow the Klesse College of Engineering and Integrated Design to support student success programs. This includes the college’s Student Success Center, which provides tutoring, hands-on learning opportunities, leadership programs, and professional development to every student in the college.
Thanks to generous gifts from donors like the Klesses, UTSA has been able to grow into a thriving institution where students can get the most out of their education.
