Orientation

All in-person orientations scheduled for summer will move to an online format. Students who had previously signed up for an in-person orientation will automatically be moved to the online orientation experience. Students who have already paid their orientation deposit, will have it automatically applied to their online orientation fee. Any remaining balance will be added to the student account.

We do not have an online option for Family Orientation at this time, so students will not be charged if they previously signed up for that program.

If you have any questions about your orientation session, please reach out to the Office of Orientation and Family programs at orientation@utsa.edu.

Admissions

We have extended our Fall 2020 admission deadline to July 31 for domestic students and July 1 for international students. At this time, we are holistically reviewing applications where students are having trouble submitting test scores and are working with students on a case-by-case basis. All Summer 2020 terms will be conducted online.

Although we can’t meet physically, we are bringing UTSA to you! You can find and connect with your admission counselor on our Contact Us webpage and for questions on admissions or financial aid, please reach out to One Stop via chat in the bottom right corner of this webpage or by emailing onestop@utsa.edu.

Virtual Events

On-campus tours and visits are suspended through April 9 per city and county’s “Stay at Home, Work Safe” order. However, virtual campus tours are being offered. Sign up at our Virtual Experiences webpage. Other virtual resources include:

  • Signing up for Orientation
  • Connecting with an Admissions Counselor to check your status
  • Speaking with a One Stop Enrollment Counselor for financial aid
  • Presentations from different academic colleges and programs
  • A Virtual Campus Tour
  • Staff available to answer your questions

UTSA Day will also transition into a virtual experience in accordance with social distancing practices. We will still have staff available to answer your questions and showcase the campus using the UTSA Day Guide app. More details are available on the UTSA Day webpage.
