Updates due to COVID-19
All in-person orientations scheduled for summer will move to an online format. Students who had previously signed up for an in-person orientation will automatically be moved to the online orientation experience. Students who have already paid their orientation deposit, will have it automatically applied to their online orientation fee. Any remaining balance will be added to the student account.
We do not have an online option for Family Orientation at this time, so students will not be charged if they previously signed up for that program.
If you have any questions about your orientation session, please reach out to the Office of Orientation and Family programs at email@example.com.
We have extended our Fall 2020 admission deadline to July 31 for domestic students and July 1 for international students. At this time, we are holistically reviewing applications where students are having trouble submitting test scores and are working with students on a case-by-case basis. All Summer 2020 terms will be conducted online.
SAT/ACT Requirements Temporarily Suspended
SAT/ACT requirements have been temporarily suspended for the Summer 2020, Fall 2020, Spring 2021, Fall 2021 and Spring 2022 semesters. If you are affected by this recent cancellation, but have already completed all the other admission requirements, you will have your test score requirements waived and be reviewed for admission eligibility through a holistic committee review process. The process to render a decision will include looking at your high school or transfer GPA, class rank and any essays or recommendation letters you may have provided. For more information, visit our SAT Scores webpage.
Although we can’t meet physically, we are bringing UTSA to you! You can find and connect with your admission counselor on our Contact Us webpage and for questions on admissions or financial aid, please reach out to One Stop via chat in the bottom right corner of this webpage or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
