Updates due to COVID-19
In response to the continued developments of COVID-19 and to support the health and wellbeing of our university community, fall Orientation programs scheduled for this summer are available in an online format. Admitted students should sign up and complete online Orientation as soon as possible. For questions, please email email@example.com.
We have extended our Fall 2020 admission deadline to July 31 for domestic students and it was on July 1 for international students. At this time, we are holistically reviewing applications where students are having trouble submitting test scores and are working with students on a case-by-case basis. 95% of all Fall 2020 courses will be conducted online. Students who choose to take all their coursework online will have the ability to do so, as even all face-to-face courses will have the same content available and accessible online. Fall semester fees have been adjusted to reflect available campus services. For more details on the fall semester, visit the Roadrunner Return website.
SAT/ACT Requirements Temporarily Suspended
SAT/ACT requirements have been temporarily suspended for the Fall 2020, Spring 2021, Fall 2021, and Spring 2022 semesters. If you are affected by this recent cancellation but have already completed all the other admission requirements, you will have your test score requirements waived and be reviewed for admission eligibility through a holistic committee review process. The process to render a decision will include looking at your high school or transfer GPA, class rank, and any essays or recommendation letters you may have provided. For more information, visit our SAT Scores webpage.
Although we can’t meet physically, we are bringing UTSA to you! You can find and connect with your admission counselor on our Contact Us webpage and for questions on admissions or financial aid, please reach out to One Stop via chat in the bottom right corner of this webpage or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
On-campus tours and visits are currently suspended. However, virtual campus tours are being offered. Sign up at our Virtual Experiences webpage. Other virtual resources include:
- Signing up for Orientation
- Connecting with an Admissions Counselor to check your status
- Speaking with a One Stop Enrollment Counselor for financial aid

UTSA Day will also transition into a virtual experience in accordance with social distancing practices. We will still have staff available to answer your questions and showcase the campus using the UTSA Day Guide app. More details are available on the UTSA Day webpage.
