This form is for UT Coordinated Admission Program (CAP) students who have decided not to continue in CAP and who want to remain enrolled at UT San Antonio instead of transferring to UT Austin.

Before You Submit This Form

  • If you are opting out before taking summer classes, you must already have applied to UT San Antonio and received an admission offer outside of CAP. If you have not applied to UTSA outside of CAP, you may need to submit an application for admission.
  • If you are opting out after enrolling in summer classes and attending UT San Antonio for at least one semester, you do not need to apply.

If you have any questions or concerns about opting out of UT CAP, please contact the One Stop Enrollment Center.

Instructions to Opt-Out of UT CAP and still attend UT San Antonio:

  1. Click the button below. You will need your myUTSA ID to sign in to complete this form.
  2. Complete the form and submit.
  3. It takes 3-5 business days for the admission team to process your request. You will be contacted if any additional information is needed.
