UTSA Dining provides many different dining locations across campus with a wide variety of food and beverage options. Whether you’re craving a quick bite between classes or looking for a leisurely meal with friends, campus dining has something for everyone with menu choices for all types of lifestyles.

Meal Plans

Students living on campus are encouraged to select a meal plan. Meal plans are a package deal that provides you with the resources necessary to get your meals on campus. You can choose from several plans, most of which include both meals at the Roadrunner Café and dining dollars to eat at other third-party dining options on campus.

Dining Locations

You have lots of options for campus dining! We offer staples like Starbucks and Chick-fil-a, other chains like Panda Express and Freebirds, along with our very own Roadrunner Café.

Allergies & Diets

If you have any allergies or specialized diets, we got you covered! We offer resources you can make use of to ensure your allergies or diet is honored.

Roadrunner Café

The Roadrunner Café is a staple at UTSA. Located nearby many of our on-campus resident halls, the Roadrunner Café is an easily accessible option for all students and offers a diverse range of choices for food items.

Demo Kitchen

We know how important nutrition is to your health and wellness. That’s why our Campus Rec offers cooking classes and demonstrations in their very own Demo Kitchen!

Facilities & Hours

We have two main dining halls on our main campus as well as our Roadrunner Café. Most of our dining options stay open nearly all day, allowing you to grab a meal between classes whenever your classes may be!

Nutrition and wellness

Nutrition & Wellness

For students who are concerned about how to navigate eating on campus with either food allergies or a restricted diet, getting a Nutrition Assessment offered by the Campus Rec is a great resource. UTSA students can get free nutrition advice from a registered dietitian on campus. They offer personalized support for managing food allergies, dietary restrictions, and improving overall health.
