Admission & Application Requirements

Applicants must be currently enrolled in a Master’s or Doctoral graduate degree program at UTSA and should submit the UTSA Graduate Certificate Form to add a certificate to their current program. Complete and submit the linked form to Reyna.Tostado@utsa.edu.

Teaching (CERT)
  Currently Admitted Required Admission as a UTSA master's or doctoral student or postdoctoral fellow
  Minimum GPA 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) Must have completed at least 9 semester credit hours of UTSA approved coursework. Departments may consider GPA of last 60 semester credit hours
  English Language Proficiency 600 TOEFL Paper / 85 TOEFL Internet / 7 IELTS / Duolingo 130
*Unofficial transcripts will be taken into consideration for admissions; however, if admitted into the program, you must submit official transcripts to the University.
