Admission & Application Requirements
Applications are submitted through the UT San Antonio Graduate Application. Please upload all required documents (listed below) on your UT San Antonio Graduate Application. It is the applicant’s responsibility to ensure completion and submission of the application, a nonrefundable application fee, and all required supporting documents are on file with UT San Antonio by the appropriate application deadline.

Most students complete the Applied Educational Psychology MA program within 1 or 2 years, depending on the pacing that students are comfortable with. The degree requires a minimum of 36 semester credit hours, including core courses and electives. Students must also pass a comprehensive exam.
How long it takes will depend on how many credits you take each term (full-time vs. part-time). Students who start in the Fall can complete 12 credits per semester in Fall, Spring and Summer and graduate within one year. Other students, particularly those working full time, may not have as much time to devote to school, and spread out the program requirements across two years (6 credits per semester).
