Rebecca Espinoza is a driven Roadrunner who’s working hard to achieve her goals. Despite both of her parents being UTSA alumni, it wasn’t until she toured the campus that she decided to attend the university. “One of the things I love most is the activity that’s always going on around campus.”

Rebecca’s journey at UTSA led her to participate in the Najim Strategist Program, a paid experience where students work with their peers to solve real-world problems for local companies. She enjoyed many things about the experience. “I loved being able to get real-world experience. It was able to be so flexible with our class schedules that it never conflicted with classes or stressed me out.”

Rebecca also stays involved on campus. She’s part of student organizations like the Business Student Council, and Women in Leadership, where she has served as both Treasurer and Vice President.

Rebecca hopes to pursue a PhD, where she already has a head start as part of the pre-PhD program in the Alvarez College of Business.
