Info Session Descriptions

The Application Bootcamp is a virtual series where we will discuss the application process to UTSA. Work with undergraduate admission counselors who will help Future Roadrunners learn how to prepare to apply for their senior year. The topics that we will cover will be admissions, supplemental documentation, financial aid, and scholarships. There will be also office hours for any other questions about applying to UTSA.

Already decided you want to become a Roadrunner? Let us help you take the first step. If you’re looking for information about how to apply to UTSA, which documents are needed, or any other questions you have about the application process, join us and learn everything you need to know about submitting your application!

This session is designed for incoming college freshman to provide valuable guidance on the College Admission process. During this session, our experienced admission counselors will walk you through the essentials of the UTSA admission process, equipping you with the knowledge and tools necessary to navigate this next chapter. From understanding admission requirements to crafting a compelling application, we’ll cover it all. Birds Up!

The Self-Reported Academic Record (SRAR) allows applicants to self-report their courses, grades, class rank, and other academic information. At UTSA, first-time freshman applicants are required to submit a Self-Reported Academic Record (SRAR) instead of an official sixth-semester high school transcript. We’re here to help with any questions you have about the SRAR!

Check Your Status is an event for students who have started on their UTSA application and would like to see where they are at in process along with any additional items they may be missing. Our Admissions Counselors will be there to check the student’s status and answer any questions they may have!

At UTSA we understand that the college search process is a family affair, so we developed this session to assist anyone starting the process of guiding a high school senior through the college admission process. We invite students and families to attend this event. During this meeting our Undergraduate Admission Counselors will provide tips on the college search, guide you through the UTSA admissions process, and share some resources available to your Future Roadrunner.

So you’ve been admitted, now what? Your Rowdy Ready Checklist is designed to help you understand and keep track of your required to-dos after you’ve been admitted. During our Rowdy Ready session, we will go over what each to-do item means and how to complete them. You will leave this session confident in the tools and knowledge for becoming Rowdy Ready!
