Get to Know Lindsey
Lindsey Davis grew up with a passion and competitive spirit for softball. She had many friends and family members involved in the sport and quickly showed herself to be a standout athlete in middle school and high school. When UT San Antonio provided her first Division I softball offer, she excitedly accepted.
Choosing a Major
Lindsey’s love of problem solving and interest in the design aspect of the tech world helped her choose to major in computer engineering. The program allowed her to explore different aspects of the tech industry and develop her interests into useful professional skills through coursework as well as internships in hardware, software and business development. These skills, along with the connections she made at UT San Antonio, allowed Lindsey to walk the commencement stage having already secured a full-time job in her field.
Getting Career Ready
Being a part of UTSA Athletics wasn’t just an extracurricular activity for Lindsey. Through the program, she participated in Empowered Connections where she was assigned a mentor. Her mentor helped her secure her final internship, which led to her full-time employment with the same company, and became a lifelong friend.
