Returning Student Admission

Returning Student Admission

Returning Student Admission Requirements are determined by each applicant’s academic history at UTSA.

Former UTSA students who have not been in attendance for more than three consecutive semesters (summer term included) must re-apply for admission by submitting an ApplyTexas Application by the application deadline. The application should be submitted electronically through the ApplyTexas website. For international students, you must reapply for admission if you have not been in attendance for one semester, excluding the summer semester.

Re-Admission Requirements

You have been academically dismissed two or more times:

  • You must submit a Petition for Undergraduate Reinstatement by the appropriate deadline. The academic college to which the application is submitted will render the decision. The Office of Undergraduate Admissions does NOT set the admission requirements for those petitioning for reinstatement.
