How to Send SAT or ACT Scores


SAT/ACT requirements are suspended through Spring 2022 — Applicants who are affected by the recent cancellations of the SAT/ACT tests, but who have completed all other admission requirements, will have their test score requirements waived and be reviewed for admission eligibility through a holistic committee review process. Please note that the process to render a decision will include looking at your high school or transfer GPA, class rank and any essays or recommendation letters you may have provided. This may impact direct admission into certain majors and colleges who require SAT/ACT test scores.

If you have not already submitted an essay or recommendation letters, please submit them to apply@utsa.edu.

We still recommend students have a standardized test on file prior to enrollment. A lack of SAT/ACT scores may affect scholarship eligibility, TSI readiness and course registration.

For freshman applicants, one of the items we need to complete an admissions file is the SAT or ACT test scores. Students must contact the testing agency (SAT or ACT) to send scores to UTSA. Transfer applicants who must also meet freshmen requirements will also need to submit their SAT or ACT scores.


Be sure that your test scores arrive to UTSA by the application deadline (not postmarked). You can also check your status when you receive your myUTSA ID to see what items we require to complete your admission file.

Send SAT Scores

If you’ve taken the SAT, send your scores to UTSA using the school code 6919. Instructions on how to send your SAT scores can be found on the Collegeboard website.

Send ACT Scores

If you’ve taken the ACT, send your scores to UTSA using the school code 4239. Instructions on how to send your ACT scores can be found on the ACT website.
