Fall 2025 Orientation Is Now Open!
A large milestone for our admitted students is to attend Orientation. Orientation is a mandatory requirement for our new undergraduate freshman and transfer students.
For students to sign up, they can log into their myUTSA Admissions portal, find their application under “My Admission Applications” section and click on the orange “Review Details & Checklist.” Under the “Your Rowdy Ready Status” section, they will see a “Sign Up for Orientation” checklist item which will redirect them to the Orientation Reservation System.

FAFSA
The FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) for the 2025-2026 academic year is officially open, earlier than expected! The TASFA is still slated to open in December.
Free Tuition and Fees with Bold Promise
Our Bold Promise program just got even better! We’ve raised the income threshold to $100,000, which means even more eligible freshmen may now qualify to have 100% of their tuition and mandatory fees covered. Check it out today to see if you’re eligible!

UTSA and UT Health San Antonio are merging to form a premier global university. Once complete, UTSA will be the third-largest public research university in Texas. What does this mean for students? Expect more academic programs, particularly joint ones between academic and health professions. There will also be additional pathways for undergraduates to transition into graduate programs, especially in health sciences. Plus, enjoy greater support and resources from a combined powerhouse university.
