G-Force Mentors is a student work-study initiative established at UT San Antonio within the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board’s Work Study Mentorship Program. The program focuses on improving students’ access to, success in, and completion of higher education.

Through collaborative programming, G-Force Mentors reach over 20,000 students and their families annually, inspiring them to think about their future and the importance of pursuing higher education. G-Force Mentors actively advocate for the value of college, engaging with the San Antonio community through a variety of UT San Antonio recruitment and outreach events.

G-Force Mentors guide prospective students through the Roadrunner for a Day program, offering an insider’s view of UT San Antonio. They also visit local schools to give presentations and engage at college fairs, inspiring young students to consider college. These mentors play a crucial role in representing UT San Antonio and supporting future higher education students.
