G-Force Mentors is a student work-study initiative established at UTSA within the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board’s Work Study Mentorship Program. The program focuses on improving students’ access to, success in, and completion of higher education.

Helping Students and Families
Through collaborative programming, G-Force Mentors reach over 20,000 students and their families annually, inspiring them to think about their future and the importance of pursuing higher education. G-Force Mentors actively advocate for the value of college, engaging with the San Antonio community through a variety of UTSA recruitment and outreach events.

Inspiring the Next Generation
G-Force Mentors guide prospective students through the Roadrunner for a Day program, offering an insider’s view of UTSA. They also visit local schools to give presentations and engage at college fairs, inspiring young students to consider college. These mentors play a crucial role in representing UTSA and supporting future higher education students.
