The UTSA Top Scholar program is a life-changing opportunity for high-achieving, motivated students who want to be strong leaders and serve their communities. With strong, comprehensive support scholars achieve dreams beyond their wildest imaginations. Of the 49 Top Scholars to have graduated UTSA, half have gone on to graduate school at prestigious universities like California Institute of Technology(CalTech), Harvard Law, and UT Austin, and found work at places like Google, USAA, Chevron, the U.S. Department of Defense and Sandia National Labs. Top Scholars have won nationally competitive awards like the Harry S. Truman Award, the Barry M Goldwater Scholarship, and the National Science Foundation Graduation Research Fellowship.
