Get to Know Brianna
Brianna Anzaldua started her journey at UTSA by pursuing a bachelor’s degree in marketing with a minor in political science. While her undergraduate studies were driven by her love of storytelling and political science, it was her desire to make a greater impact that encouraged her to pursue her MBA.
Learning Tools for Success
Brianna’s desire to positively impact her community led her to intern with the District 7 City Council, CPS Energy and Edwards Aquifer Authority. Unique opportunities brought on by these internships taught her a more openminded approach to life’s challenges. Aside from her internships, living as both a student and employee while also making time for her family helped Brianna learn time management and adaptability. These skills became invaluable to Brianna both academically and professionally.
Looking Forward
During her time at UTSA, what stood out to Brianna the most was the real-world applications of her coursework and the support of her professors. One graduate project in particular allowed Brianna to give back to the community both at UTSA and the city of San Antonio by organizing community events based on environmental sustainability. Brianna graduates UTSA excited to put her skills in marketing, communications and community outreach to use in the professional world.
