UTSA has partnered with two local school districts—San Antonio Independent School District (SAISD) and Northside Independent School District (NISD)—to offer high-achieving students an early opportunity to guarantee admission at UTSA before the end of their junior year!

What sets UTSA Direct Admission apart from other direct admission programs is its close collaboration with participating school districts to simplify the application process.

Qualifying students from these school districts who rank in the top 25% of their high school class by the spring semester of their junior year will receive an early Direct Admission offer. Additionally, the school district will submit the student’s academic records on their behalf, and the admission fee can be deferred—meaning no upfront payment is required at the time of application. This allows students to enjoy their senior year with the peace of mind that they already have a spot at UTSA—no need to reapply!

Students with questions about the program should contact their college counselor at their high school or reach out to our Admission Counselors Mike Rubbo for SAISD or Noah Murray for NISD.
