Pri Patel ’22
Chicago, IL
Psychology

Pri Patel is an Honors College student who’s made the most of her time at UTSA. She was drawn to UTSA for a couple reasons, distance being one, as her family resided in Houston when she applied. “It was close to home, but also far away enough for me to be independent. It also gave me the chance to experience a culture I’ve never experienced.”

Since joining the Roadrunner family, Pri has kept busy bettering herself socially, academically and professionally. She’s part of several student organizations such as the Student Psychology Association, the Business Council, the Roadrunner Student Alumni Association, where she acts as an emergency funds coordinator, and the PsyChi International Honors Society in Psychology, where she serves as the Vice President.

Pri was also part of the Najim Strategist Program, a new opportunity for students to work together in teams to solve real-world business problems for local companies. She enjoyed the challenges and new experiences of the project. “I enjoyed networking, being out of my comfort zone and having fun. It was really cool to collaborate with different people from different fields.”

When Pri graduates, she plans on working full-time, already having a position lined up as a Recruiting Sourcer at MacQuarie Bank Group, and she also plans to pursue a Master’s degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology.
