Get to Know Gisele
Gisele graduated in 2017 from UTSA’s College of Sciences with a bachelor’s degree in physics and in 2023 with her PhD in physics. She is now pursuing a bold future in scientific research.

During her time as an undergraduate, Gisele found extraordinary research opportunities to help refine her interests and skills. World-class faculty and state-of-the-art facilities make UTSA a top competitor among research institutions. Since achieving the prestigious Carnegie R1 Research designation in 2021, UTSA is now among the top 4% of research universities in the nation. Because of this, Gisele was able to experience a wide variety of research opportunities.
Changing the World
Gisele now dreams of continuing her research in the field of physics and astronomy. Her experience at UTSA equipped her to aim high. Someday, she hopes to be a part of the team that designs one of the newest spacesuits for astronauts. The future is full of opportunities for this bold Roadrunner.
