Spring Break Tours is a special week of extended campus visits designed for prospective students and families who are off school during March 9–13.

Spring Break Tours offer an enhanced visit experience that includes a welcome session, dedicated Admissions, Financial Aid, and Housing presentations, followed by both a guided campus tour and housing tour — all designed to give students and families a comprehensive look at UT San Antonio in one visit.
Main Campus: Free visitor parking is in the Brackenridge Ave Lot 1 (BK1). ADA spaces are available in all campus surface lots and garages. Guests with an ADA or Disabled Veteran placard or plate may use ADA spaces or any surface space allowed by their permit inside garages at the hourly rate or use surface pay-by-space at no charge.

Downtown: We suggest parking in unmarked parking spaces in either the
Monterery Lot OR unmarked spaces in the
Cattlemans Lot. ADA parking options are available. If you are using ADA parking, we recommend allowing a little extra time to navigate to the closest available space.
The full Spring Break Tour experience lasts between 2–3 hours and includes welcome remarks, Admissions, Financial Aid, and Housing information sessions, followed by a guided campus and housing tour.
We recommend bringing comfortable walking shoes, water, and weather-appropriate attire. Tours operate rain or shine, so please plan accordingly (umbrellas are encouraged if rain is forecasted).
Housing & Residence Life offer housing tours of Laurel Village, Alvarez Hall, Guadalupe Hall. Campus Living Villages will also offer walk-in tours of University Oaks from 10:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m. Guests should visit the University Oaks office directly to tour.

- Check-in: Check-in will take place in the Assembly Room, located next door to the
Downtown Campus Gregory Luna Welcome Center. - We recommend arriving at least 15 minutes before your scheduled start time so you have time to park, walk over, and get checked in.

- If you run into travel delays, we allow a 15-minute grace window after your start time to still attend.

Yes! Many university departments have representatives available to visit with you during Roadrunner Preview. If you need to discuss admissions, financial aid, or enrollment services, the One Stop Enrollment Center (One Stop) will be open. Military affiliated students can also visit the Center for Military Affiliated Students (CMAS). Both are located in the John
Peace Library Building (1st Floor)
Students attending a campus tour or other Welcome Center & Events programs will receive an excuse letter at check-in. Please note, we’re only able to provide excuse letters for students registered for our programs and cannot accept letters from other schools or third parties. Excuse letters are not available for guests accompanying a registered student

We keep a close eye on weather conditions leading up to each tour. Most campus tours will go on as planned, rain or shine. In the event of severe weather, such as flooding, thunderstorms, or lightning, we’ll contact you promptly by email with any updates. This may include rescheduling or canceling the tour. Your safety is always our top priority!
Yes! We do our best to follow routes with elevators and ramps for guests who may need them, such as those with physical disabilities or strollers. If another need arises, we’ll adjust the route whenever possible.
For safety reasons, UT San Antonio does not provide golf cart rides or personal assistance items such as wheelchairs. Because tours take place outdoors and in varying weather, we understand some guests may prefer to rest. You’re always welcome to relax in the Student Union until the tour concludes.
For extenuating circumstances, accommodations may be requested at least two weeks in advance by emailing [email protected] so our team has time to review and prepare.
Yes! You’re welcome to bring guests, but please include them in your registration so we can prepare accordingly. If you’ve already registered no worries- we’ll get them added when they arrive.
Spring Break Tours are designed for individual students and families. At this time, we do not host organized schools or community groups during Spring Break week. Please visit our Group Tours page for dedicated group visit options.
