UTSA Day is our largest open house event, designed to give you an in-depth look at what it means to be a Roadrunner. You can explore campus through guided tours, academic showcases, student life experiences, and conversations with faculty, staff, and students. Create your own schedule and experience UTSA at your own pace.
Large groups are welcome at UTSA Day, but advance registration is required to ensure a smooth experience. Registering allows us to provide parking, drop-off, and pick-up details, along with key event information for chaperones.
To register, determine the number of students attending and keep a roster. Then, email Welcome.Center@utsa.edu at least two weeks before the event to complete registration.
Free event parking for UTSA Day is available in any unmarked surface lot or spaces marked Employee A or B in Brackenridge Lot 1 or 2 (BK 1 or BK 2). If full, additional parking is available in Ximenes Avenue Lot. Do not park in spaces marked “Reserved” or designated for “Resident” parking. Hourly parking is also available in the Ximenes Avenue Garage at a rate of $2.50/hour. Parking options for those who have an ADA placard/license plate, but no UTSA parking permit, can park on any surface ADA parking space.
Check-in is open from 10:30 AM to 2:30 PM inside the UTSA Campus Recreation and Wellness Center. Have your QR code from your confirmation or reminder emails ready for a quick check-in experience. An alternate check-in location is also available at the UTSA Main Building.

- Have a debit or credit card on hand as UTSA is a cashless campus. Therefore, many of our campus services (parking garages, dining, etc) are only payable by debit or credit card.
Yes! Many university departments have representatives available to visit with you during UTSA Day. If you need to discuss admissions, financial aid, or enrollment services, the One Stop Enrollment Center (One Stop) will be open. Military affiliated students can also visit the Center for Military Affiliated Students (CMAS). Both are located in the John Peace Library Building (1st Floor).
During UTSA Day, Housing & Residence Life and Campus Living Villages offer free housing tours with shuttles to Chisholm Hall, Chaparral Village, Guadalupe Hall, and University Oaks. To join a tour, you must attend a Housing Information Session to receive your shuttle ticket. Shuttles pick up and drop off at the Student Union (1st Floor, near the Fiesta Dancers) and run every 40-45 minutes. The last shuttle departs at 2:00 PM, so plan accordingly.
If you need documentation for a school or work absence, stop by any of our orange Info Stations indicated with an “i” symbol on the program schedule to receive a UTSA Day excuse letter confirming your participation. Please note that this letter only verifies attendance for the day of the event and does not provide documentation for any dates before or after UTSA Day.
